Both tires are sold as a 225/45/17. 225 is the widest I can run in STF and the BFG is know to be a little wide for its size.
Hmm that's weird if they are supposed to be the same size lol.
im trying to go for a wider body look, so id like some poke (w/ flares), can anyone tell me if its even possible to fit these on an LT?
Size: 18x8
Pattern: 5x114.3
Offset: +35mm
Hub Bore: 73mm
i understand i need a spacer, (5x100 by 5x114.3 adapter) but im hoping that helps with the poke. unfortunately i dont really know much else. anyone??
(p.s. i have my heart set on these rims, and they only come in that exact spec.)
Buy them. I've seen them sell for $700 without tires.I was curious to know what you guys that have Cruze Eco wheels played? Craigslist seller in my area asking $525 with used tires.
Thanks!
Will 215/75/15 fit on my stock 15s? They should be ok I would think, from 195 to 215 with that big sidewall.
**** you auto correct!
Totsu, in this thread: http://www.sonicownersforum.com/for...-sotm-december-2014-contest-2.html#post294347, is running 215/75R15. I guess they'll fit. They're pretty big though.

A 215/75/15 can be mounted on a 5.5" to 7.5" rim, so that isn't an issue.
But jumping nearly 3" in diameter will seriously affect your "go power".
Our cars aren't overpowered to start with and changing the effective gear ratio that much will really reduce acceleration and could seriously affect your gas mileage because you would need to stay in lower gears much of the time.
Yeah, I realize that. But it will also lower my rpm on the highway which is 95% of my driving. Plus it looks cool. Maybe I'll get a second set of wheels to mount them on.
That big a change in effective gear ratio may cause your to drop to a lower gear frequently - even on the highway. You'll probably drop 1 or 2 gears on very slight inclines where before you could pull them without having to change gears.
I don't know if you have a manual or an auto - but as I understand it the manual has a final drive ratio of 3.94 and the auto has a 3.47.
That tire change turns your final drive ratio on a manual to about 3.5 and the auto to about 3.1.
If that would truly help highway fuel economy - don't you think GM would have those ratios already in the car?
