This Sonic fanatic is going INSANE waiting for my recent purchases to arrive. One item had to be returned so I am awaiting it's replacement and a couple others are yet to make it here. Then it's more torture waiting for paint....then I am outta town for a couple weeks. While it'll be nice to be on vacation, it'll constantly be in the back of my mind that I've got parts to install upon my return!!
All I know is that it has been in the high 50's to high 60's for the last week and a half or so, and the Sonic is REALLY looking forward to turning some heads!!
I've also thought about going to a few more car shows this season, maybe even Hot Import Nights in Minneapolis this year, so I think it's really time to start focusing on the details. I've got a few cool ideas, but I also need to do some touch ups and repaints from the long hard @$#%@$ winter, so some 70+ degree days are really in need so I can get some painting done....
Spring has finally sprung.....AMEN.

One more thing do you have too take the front bumper off, to Install fog lights
Or just take off the cover were the fog lights go.

Now, it's looking like MN is going to give me some nice weather this weekend so I can get some MUCH NEEDED work done on my ride. Stay tuned for pics. I have a few purchases that will be going on this weekend and I'm looking forward to posting some new pics.
The first car show of the year for me is coming up on May 2nd, so I'm really excited about the next few weeks of prep work, and just really stoked about summer time coming right around the corner as a whole!!

Thanks brother, I think it really turned out nice. The main reason for doing it is the engine bay, or the perceived performance characteristics, of the Sonic in general didn't really get the respect deserved at the car show I was in last fall. While the things I did don't impact performance, the curious onlooker checking under the hood could infer that if the engine LOOKS that good, then certainly I did something to it to PERFORM as good as it looks.
Also, as much as I wanna do all the other hoses in that amazing blue color, it opens the conversation of buying the silicon versus buying hard charge pipes and going that route instead. I will say though, DDMWorks has always been more than willing to put together special pricing options if you clue them into your vision(they end up with the cash either way so it's a win/win for them).
It has been my experience, after added eye candy, my cars perform way better. I know for a fact, that just washing the car adds 5 hp. Adding colored hoses, SS braided lines, new valve covers, and LED lighting can add as much as 200 hp.

Totally agree brother, just didn't want to brag up my 700+ HP that I'm pushing!!

I'm not certain, I believe it was the second darkest on the Lamin-X site. Charcoal maybe??
