Well I got test video out of the camera. Its not crystal clear, but its good enough for evidence if needed. As in, you couldn't read a license plate off the video, but you could identify the vehicle/road condition/etc. if needed.

Since I am not putting out video to use in a website or anything, I'm happy with it.

What I did today.

After much Facebook deliberation and discussions, as well as messing with the USB ports on my laptop, I finally got my car to upload my Trifecta tune. It's marvelous!! Can't wait for warmer weather to really play with all the car has to offer more safely.

Can you turn off audio on that or is it on all the time? But looks good, reminds me of the Russian dash cams opcorn:

I haven't found a way to disable audio, and the chinglish instructions are in classic uninterpretable chinglese.

"Keep the video camera contaminated free of dust and chemical materials."

I see nothing on audio controls. FWIW, the camera records in 5 minute long files until the card is full, then overwrites the oldest files. Not sure how many minutes/hours of video a max 32GB card will hold.

The car now has quite a huge skid plate!

and also installed a front tow strap since the front tow location is now covered.

Repainted fog light bezels and front bow tie. Also repainted crash bar and opening for the lower grille.

I broke a tab on the upper grille so it's sitting on the bench curing.

Forgot to post last Thursday, but went and got tinted. 35% on the sides and 20% on the back .

Tint

My car came with tint/smoked windows from factory but wasn't dark enough and didn't block heat so I tinted my windows, back 20% front and sunroof 35%.
