Here are a couple pics of the work I was able to complete yesterday. Installation of the DDMWorks Coil Cover and Heat Shield powder coated inferno orange metallic along with their blue coolant hoses.

I think it turned out pretty well!!

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised as well. So much that I think I'm gonna incorporate that color elsewhere on the car too.

Cool so were you able to use a lift for it or did you just use jack stands? I just want to prepair myself because I plan on ordering my set up with in a few weeks

Yes, Jack and stands are needed. Jack it up low at first so you're not cutting way above your head but then Jack it high for easy working.

It was a beautifully sunny day in MN, it was perfect timing for installing my newest addition. Damn fine looking spoiler if you ask me!!

I've been debating on adding this to my long list and now I'm pretty sure I will. The back just looks too stubby and yhe spoiler helps a lot.... now to figure out what number in line this addition will be

Yeah, I have to say, I was less than impressed with the unfinished part when it arrived a month or so ago. I wasn't really sure if what I received was as high of quality as what is represented on the web when you buy it, but I figured I'd get it painted and see what was up.

In my opinion, the stock spoiler was one key item that was keeping the car from looking custom, at least at first glance by someone other than me.

I guess this is a different spoiler than the one I'm seeing online because it's the zspec spoiler already painted to match the cat for 200 plus outrages shipping on one of the "gm parts" websites is yours the carbon creations one?

Yes, 3D Carbon, then I had it painted to match. Under $250 total.

Go to your local Chevy dealers collision center, that's what I do.

Since I'm going chronological, I should mention that I did Plasti my fuel door next. I was really doing it just to try out the product I have heard so much about, but ended up being impressed so I kept it. After doing all the reading on here, I was part of the "not a fan" club, but I'll have to admit that after doing the fuel door I've gone over to the dark side....

Yes, and I occasionally restore it to a deep black with Maguires Ultimate Black. The stuff is awesome on all the black parts on the sonic.
