DDMWorks Cold Air Intake

Installed my CAI yesterday, the sound now as it's spooling is almost too much.
I removed the snorkel thinking the sound was it struggling to get air. But here is the picture and a short video as I drove to work today.

H&R Sport Lowering Springs

Rear install went super easy, the front was more of a pain in the ass. But it gives it a lot lower profile, and really made a difference in the steering.

It came in today actually, but I didn't get out of arbitration till late. So hopefully I can get to it this week, I also need to install a few more parts and reinstall my bumper before a show on sunday.

When I first installed my intake, it seemed like it was a lot, but after like a month or so, it dies down and gets faint. Still hear it, but not like when its first installed.

Yeah, I hardly even hear it anymore honestly. But it is still pretty notocable to othet people, turns heads often when I'm driving.

Use latex gloves and lots of water doing your Lamin-X, you will adjust A LOT while doing.

Thanks for the heads up, I really need to focus this week on getting my supertones installed and my front end all back together. I have a show on Sunday that i'm going to.

Thanks man, I found them on ebay actually. Called "logo caps" and they are just the rs logo black ones. Really ties the car together.

DDMworks turbo heat shield

Well I installed my DDMworks turbo heat shield.

Got to dark and It dropped bottom on me, so I came inside and put my Hella super tones together.

I am still having a heck of a time with the lower bolt on the heat shield, how'd your install go? I couldn't get the threaded stud in to save my life due to the metal line running in front of the bolt hole, and the various other bolts I've put in its place have worked themselves out one after another.

One more thing brother, would you mind posting a link for the Hellas, I gotta look into those. In my sixty miles of driving everyday there are many folks deserving of a blast from those tones!!

I'll let you know of I ever figure it the **** out man hahaha I'm going to try and do it from under the car when I jack it up to reinstall the front bumper. Oh and that bolt. So fun! Have to get it started first. With my left hand twisted backwards and my right hand keeping the shield so I could see both holes were lined up I was able to get a half turn or so. Then re-situated myself and twisted with the very tip of my fingers a little more so I knew it was in there. Then get the rest of the heat shield lined up and snug down the top bolts. Finger tighten the bottom some more then 8mm (i think) open end wrench it. That's roughly how I did it.

Seems like it should be easier than that! I'm gonna be re installing my front bumper Saturday so I'll have the car up and then I can try from underneath.
If not, maybe I'll find someone with little baby fingers to give it a try because I can't with my big ogre fingers. :sadbanana:

Bumper Reinstall

I reinstalled my bumper today and gave her a quick wash.
Here are a few pics of the progress,I have a show tomorrow morning and I think she looks pretty good.

Well...thanks for your kind word there. I've got a long way to go, but I think it's starting to come together nicely.
