A little video of my 300hp Sonic going through a few gears. I've disable TCS and it's minions in the tune, but the light still let's me know it's not condoning this kind of acceleration. Lol

For sure Walker. If you can, try to make a trip to the track and get some baseline times. A low 13/high 12 pass would go a long way to convincing a ton of people here of converting to a big turbo.

Based on his HP and weight he should be mid 12s which would give a 108mph trap. But it's all numbers

I'm way out of fuel pump, and have been working on a solution. I'm have to ramp up injector duty cycle well past what it should be to keep AFRs in check. I don't want to hit he track until that is resolved.

GM you sly bastards. They purposely built this econobox for the enthusiast and fabricators to mess with and marketed it to the average consumer as a fuel sipper when in reality this thing is just a monster waiting to be unleashed from it's cage. There's no other explanation for this. The best part is that is the car is basically selling itself and MPfab found the key to unlock the cage it was trapped in. Kudos to you for being the pioneer for this platform.

It's not cheap. Parts and labor would probably put you close to the 6.5K-7.5K range if starting with a completely stock vehicle. This assumes 6spd manual trans. The auto as delivered from GM, may not handle this kind of power without extensive upgrades, and that's assuming they are available.

I've actually started to see deterioration in my cars auto transmission at 200hp over a course of 40k miles, but most of that was from moderate to hard driving. It's actually the only reason why I won't buy the turbo kit right now just because I'm not ready to blow up the current trans and swap in a 6spd MZ0. I could trade it for a new one with a stick, but that's going to void the warranty first day of purchase.
