Eleventy more years!!
...I just hope they keep it looking distinctive.
I hate to be the berrer of bad news but it seems like the Chevy Sonic may not have a bright future. There's news that Chevy might be cutting prodution of future Sonis. But that could be a good thing if you look at it like this... If Chevy stops the prodution of the Sonic then we are the lucky owners of "limited prodution vehicles", and we don't have to worry about not ownig the latest or newest Sonic... What do you guys think?
GM cutting Chevy Sonic, Buick Verano production by more than 20%

The Sonic is here to stay. Sales are down as it ages and they, as usual for GM, quit advertising it.
Why should they advertise it? It would be a waste of money.
How much is Fiat/Chrysler spending advertising the 500?
Guess what - it ain't selling. They've only sold 19,403 500's through August. Chevy's sold 46,755 Sonics.
I think Chevy is doing it right. Small car buyers will find it without a multi million dollar ad campaign.
Put those dollars into making a better product. Big ad campaigns make sense for vehicles that have serious profit dollars - like SUV's, PU's, luxury cars or performance cars.
Chevy has always been known as having small economical cars.
Some people would argue that they aren't known as well for the larger cars.
They need to advertise that they have a competitive product to the usual suspects from afar.
GM puts Chevy Sonic on endangered list.
