Got them off a friend that bought another forum members car.
They are vauxhall VXR wheels.
typing about car wrecks....
I got a traffic ticket about a month ago for slipping thru a yellow/red lite and after that I spent several hours watching youtube car crash videos
lesson #1 - russians are horrible drivers but they have the best car crash videos because many many people over there have those dash camera things
lesson #2 - there are tons of car crash videos on youtube of all kinds from lame fender benders to pedestrian flinging, total smashups, skids, truck crunches, fatalities by the 100s etc
lesson #3 - whew watching those videos I think made me a better driver because most people certainly not me anyway don't realize the physics involved in car crashes things smashing into each other and also don't realize just how easy it is for car crashes to happen in less than a fraction of second from somebody not paying attention or being just a teeny bit too aggressive driving and surprise where the hell did that other car from or why do my tires no longer have any traction whatsoever....
Hey me too!
Wrecked sonics for everyone!
Oh wait.
What wheels are those on the other sonic? The 18" Sonic dusks by any chance?

Ah that should be a good car. Not the best fuel economy but at least those prices are low. It drives like a champ.
Warning: The car rusts at the rear strut towers where the seat latches into the body, and its under the carpet so its not visible. My 2003 had develloped a few big holes there. If you can spray some protectant (rock guard?) inside the wheel well in this area. Haven't heard of any issues arising from this but it looks scary.
Wrecked mine again :-(View attachment 11984
I talked to Gerber Collision and he said this wreck will become property of AAA (my insurance) so they cant sell it, but AAA will probably auction it off.
So, what ended up happening? did they total it? can you buy it from the wrecker? id be interested in a few parts if the wrecker will sell you them. or if you buy it, or if you know where it ends up after it is auctioned.
Ahh cool! Does anyone here have the 18" dusk wheels on a hatch?
I will check this out. Thats kinda scary seeing that it can rust right where the seatbelt mounts. I'm glad this car has dedicated Child seat hook mounts under the seat. First time I've seen those.
