Hey you seem to be the only person Ive seen with the rhino rack basket on their sonic. I noticed in some of your pictures you don't have it on anymore. I love the look of it and the utility of it and want one myself for camping.
Did you take it off because it impacts the handling, mpg and its noisey? Figured I would get your input before spending so much on that setup. Love your car and your style.

I have removed and sold it to another member, it wasn't a problem really. The MPG didn't seem to suffer and noise was't much of an issue unless under crazy winds sometimes the fairing would rattle back and forth. I just was going to go for something I had in my mind for a look and when I got it there I didn't like it. So I decided to go with the low and clean look instead.
If you want a rack, reach out to Michael Ma from M2 Motoring, he seems to have the best prices even compared to like ebay. Thanks!

Welp, b2b warranty expired at the beginning of this month. Since then the vinyl by the passenger window has started bubbling. Couple days ago while driving the stabiltrak light started flashing and my speedo was jumping around as well as my RPM. The gas and millage info went blank. Brought it in to the dealer to be told they couldn't find anything. Since I got it back I've temporarily lost AC twice while driving, one the car wouldn't go into reverse or shift our of 1st gear while driving (auto).

Trade it in for a Porsche. Lol I'm jk. That is unfortunate, what are you going to do? Keep bugging the dealership. They will magically find the problem when they get tired of seeing your face. Or that seemed to be the case with me and my sonic.

SoniX Build, I can honestly say that you have one of the baddest looking Sonics on this forum but as nice as the Sonic is for a sporty, affordable car, the car is not a Subaru, a GTI, not even a Focus ST. What's sad is that GM had the opportunity to really build and deliver a car that would give the previous cars that I mentioned some good competition but instead they just gave us this, a sporty economy car. Don't get me wrong, I like my Sonic and I'm going to make the best of the one I have with some mods here and there but down the road I'm planning on making sure that my next car is a real performance machine.
