Movie formats?

Its hit and miss which movie format the mylink will play. I downloaded 20 different sample formats, and only 1 played.

Is it mp4 or 3gp

It use Divx codecs.....

Download the DivX converter and set it to the "Home Theater" setting. Convert your MP4, 3GP, AVI and whatever other video files using this setting and it'll work perfectly on the Sonic.

Thanks, was hoping it would just let me download i usually do on my androids and such without converting. I had mp4 formart and it was choosey which ones it wanted to play.

Is this DivX format mentioned anywhere in the manual or MyLink literature? What really burns me is they don't even mention anything about file formats in the MyLink video instruction on youtube.

The divx converter worked. Trying it in my loaner car, since the sonic i bought is a lemon on its 4th repair in 30 days of ownership.. Chevy customer support wont help me because i mentioned if it wasnt fixed i would get a lawyer... Didnt actually get one yet, but i see they dont wanna help out.
