And to think, that's the one piece I took out of my car on day one. Honestly have no idea where it is!

I replaced the lower spare shelf for my sub install, but went with a JL Tw3 shallow 12" to fit the space and stay hidden.

I used the original as a template for this. Wasnt sure how this was going to turn out, better to have the backup, just in case haha. Im also considering whether or not to enclose the bottom side of the speaker. Not loosing too much on the quality of the sound, satisfied with the result so far. No rattle noise coming from the tire compartment with your set up?

The matt I applied to the top is also under the shelf, isolated any vibes very nicely (hits like a ton of bricks, can't keep the rearview mirror in place at half gain)

I also got some auto carpet and lined under the Styrofoam jack holder and between the tire and jack to keep any squeaking at bay.

When I have more time I'm going to use spray in bed liner in the spare well, but need a whole sunny day to cure with the hatch open and weather in Colo is still "Sprinter"

Looks good. Thought about placing my Kenwood shallow sub there too. The panel on the door hatch rattled a little bit. Tape foam insulation between the fasteners and panel cured that problem.

does the back panel vibrate?? I can see like 6x9 speakers back there but a sub?? I would think it would rattle like crazy... But it does look good, I put my sub in the spare tire.

The panel vibrate a little bit, enough that I had to do something about it. Foam tape between the clips that secure the panel fixed that problem. I decided to enclose the sub. Quality is a definite improvement! The best part about this, is the unit can easily be removed.

Until I started this project, I never realized that you can stow the luggage cover behind the seats HAHA. see pic
