The front toe is stock, close to 0 but a little toe in, like 0.05 deg. The camber is not stock. I put in the GM crash bolts and got 1.8 deg camber in the front. The rear isn't adjustable so it just is what it is from the factory.

Rears are adjustable, you shim the wheel bearing. Throw a .5 or .75 degree shim in it

Rear Toe? Rear camber? Or both?

I didn't realize it was possible. However I think in the stock, or HS, auto-x class you can't do that unless it's a part supplied by GM, with a GM part number, mentioned in the service manual for fixing the car from a crash.

Just on the camber.

I'd just do it and not tell anyone. It's not a huge advantage like running a tune or something

Are you guys all running N/A Sonics? Haven't seen anyone mention STS class which is where the 2016 rules that I have found places the Turbo Sonic. Search Sonic in the the PDF below. I just started Autocross this year, so I may be missing something.

Turbos run STS/STC whatever that class is now

1.8's run STF


You can not adjust boost pressure in STS, if you tune your 1.4 you get bumped to SMF

What was said above is true if you want to run an ST class. The Turbo Sonic is in STS at the moment, 1.8 in STF.

If you want to run just Street class then both the turbo and 1.8 are in HS (or H Street). You can see the classing rules here: Solo Cars and Rules - Solo Cars and Rules - Sports Car Club of America

ctrl+F and do a search for Sonic and you'll see in Street class they're all HS. In Street Turing classes they're separated.

Edit: I'm running in HS with a 1.4L Turbo

Ran my second Autocross event last Saturday. The course was on a skid pad and racetrack called NCCAR in Garysburg, NC. I had speeds of around 50 MPH in the Sonic running in the HS class. I tied for 53/65 with PAX time and 4/6 in the HS class. I think the Sonic can do better here than I performed, a veteran that was riding along with me said "Unless you have years of Autocross events under your belt, you are the slowest part of the car."

If anyone is interested, I will post a link to the results for the day and a video of my fastest run.
