Needs help for the trunk cover

Hi, my car is sonic 2013 hatchback. There is a cover in the truck. I removed last week to put some large item in.

However, I can't put it back now. The cover is for privacy. It has two strings connected to the car wall. Normally, when you open the trunk, it opens. When you close the trunk, it covers your items in the trunk. I checked the manual. there is not instruction on it.

Can any one take a picture of your trunk. I need to figure out how to hook it.

What precisely about the cover won't go back in? If you have the strings attached and the clips are attached to the adjacent sides, then it should work fine.

The strings attach to little rubber connectors on the hatchback itself. You'll see little rubber tabs. The pivot point of the cover is on the right and left right behind the seats..

BTW, which year is your Sonic? Mine doesn't have the white stuff in my trunk (The white arch). Does it come with your car? Or you put it on? What is for?

Which trim level is your Sonic? For that matter, what country are you in? That white arch is coloured to match the very pale grey headliner. What colour is your arch/headliner? I've never seen a Sonic with any other colour of headliner.

My car does not have that stuff. I don't know what is called? I was trying to ask Natesriv what it is and what is for?
