I received a recall postcard for my '12 sonic
I was told it would be an all day repair, so I scheduled the appt a week out and planned to be without my car.
So I dropped my car off at 07:15 today 9/22/16 and not more than 10 minutes after the courtesy shuttle dropped me off, the service center called me and told me I have to come pick up my car. They can't do the work today as there is only 1 transmission tech and he's backed up.
I asked the rep why bother scheduling the appointment for today if they're so backed up?
No apology, just a rude employee who said it was a "miscommunication".
Sorry for the rant, but just a heads up, if you need this recall done make sure that the dealer has the parts and manpower to do the work when scheduled.
