Why did you choose Sedan or Hatchback?

They made RS in sedan since 2014.

i picked a hatchback because it was cheap and i loved how i could put a bunch of stuff in it when its time to move around. i fit all my lawn equipment in it.
however since getting the sedan i cant help but notice just how much nicer and cooler the RS sedans look. my dealership has a black sedan and i just cant keep my eyes of it. they also have more realistic usable space. and maybe its just me but they look lowered to the ground compared to the hatchback rs. and im sure the sedan has less body roll.
my hatchback sometimes reminds me of those little milk cartons you would get at school. lol.

I chose the hatchback quite simply because it was the only RS trim Sonic with a manual transmission. I like the hatchback a lot more than the sedan right now because it has so much cargo space.

I chose hatchback because I have a serious attraction to roller skates.
But on a serious note, the hatch looks better to me stock vs stock and folding down the back seats has already paid off many times.
I will admit that an RS sedan does look pretty good, but I still give the edge to the hatch.

I much prefer the hatch to the sedan. I think, styling wise, the hatch just looks better. Also, I like all the cargo room in the back for big objects, and my dogs love the hatch too!
We chose the hatchback so that our boxer (Bubba) could easily get in and out of the car. Lots of times it doesn't matter though, he lives up to his name and is so lazy he still wants me to pick his eighty poundness up and put him in the car.

I bought the sedan, because I am tall and I needed the leg room. Plus never had an LTZ before and loved the look of the car/reviews. Plus I have two dogs that love to go for car rides,(Ace German Shepherd and Maggie English Bulldog/Lab Mix). Plus I have always had small sedans growing up.
Interesting. I'm 6'6" and (most) sedans allow more room for the backseat passenger instead of the front. Also, I've found sedans to force the driver to sit more upright. Did you sit in both? I didn't bc I think the hatch is sportier.
People often wonder why tall guys are in small cars and the answer is easy. They allow us to sit lower with more legroom underneath the steering wheel.

Sedan are best for comfortable and their is much more space for kids.
I wonder what's the real difference, in rear seat passenger space between the hatch the sedan.
Is there more rear seat space in the hatch or the sedan !

I had a 2002 Focus Sedan in High School. I loved that car and i sit pretty far back and low. Before switching to the Sonic I was in my 1997 Honda Accord SE-which is still running with 320k same motor/trans. So I live the Sedan Life. Im 6'8 so leg room was why i chose the Sedan. I sat in the hatch and seemed like my knees would hit the dash more so than the sedan.
