Downpipe on stock system sound

Good day all. I searched for this on the forum as well as on youtube but could not find anything. I am looking for anyone who has done a downpipe install with stock intake and stock exhaust system. I dont want that sound the little 1.4 makes with the freeflow exhaust systems but i realy want the turbo lag to be as small as possible without making it to noisy. So if anyone has any videos of a system running stock with ONLY a downpipe swapped i would like to hear it.

I have a half intake using stock air box and a downpipe. I might be able to make this audio happen for you. It's very modest until higher rpm.

I did yes. But it seems to be expired... i did do the downpipe on my RS and it sound better. Its louder when you start it. And as soon as it has settled you cant hear a diffrence. Until you rev it up. Not redlining or nothing. The turbospool is crystal clear. And for WOT i makes a nice blowing sound. Very subtle, i doubt the camera will pick it up but i can hear it.

I have a downpipe only on an otherwise stock car. Aside from more audible turbo whistle as it spools, it sounds like a stock sonic to me. With the cat out and a tune it really livened up the car though, pretty much what I wanted from it. I do have a ZZP catback I bought but I haven't put it on, I get the feeling that the wife will complain if the car is actually noisy, she's not into that.

@Italianjoe1 I also have a ZZP catback system and my wife doesn't seem to mind. She initially said it was really loud but has no issue with it. I have the secondary cat, and the ZZP muffler. I also thought it was really loud at first but it does have a nice deep sound that doesn't drone. Lastly I asked my neighbors ( older couple )one day after having the exhaust if it was too loud or annoying, and he said he never really noticed it.

I have downpipe and mid pipe zzp with stock cat back and exhaust is quite only nose I here is from intake and BOV. I'll put clip up tomorrow
