Adding OEM Power Windows on 2016 LS?

I kept on wondering if it was possible to add OEM power windows to an LS without alot of extra work Plug & Play Or close to it as possible

has anyone successfully install them? Do you know if it has to be reflashed for Windows? Any input will be appreciated

i doubt you would need to reflash for the windows. there shouldn't be a sensor for them. if anything should just be replacing the lil blank panel for one with buttons and 9 times outta 10 you already have the correct wiring harness in the door to just plug it in. (cheaper to use one kind of harness and just leave extras dangling) probably need to add the fuse and the window solenoids for it.

I am interested to see how this turns out.
I wired power windows in the front with an aftermarket switch.

I want to do an oem conversion later on when I find cheap parts.

Okay sorry it took so long just been really busy.. so I finally took the wiring harness and the regulator from the spare doors. I installed them on a 2016 Chevy Sonic LS this includes harness electric Regulators switches door panels, and power mirrors and since it was an LS and only came with front speakers rear speakers also were added to the rear doors. Power mirrors work perfect! Unfortunately the only one of the power windows that does not work is the driver side door other than that all three other windows work perfect

I thought it was a regulator on the door that was bad so I verified it with another Sonic it works I also thought that it could be the switch on the door verified it with another Sonic and it works as well not only thing I could think of is somehow one of the cables might be bad I have to do more troubleshooting other than that everything works perfect no reflashing needed I will also later replace the switch for mirrors since the ones I added come with heated mirrors

Good project! Just curious, what did the four doors run you? I've got an LS, what I really want is power rear windows (since I can't reach them from driver's seat) I could just buy the rear doors!

It depends, the junkyards around me are Primo junk yards so the regular price for the door is $66 but I picked them up on a 40% off so ended only paying $40 for each complete door includes mirrors. Whatever way you slice it it's cheap to do a full upgrade. I got lucky I found the MyLink in the car as well and upgraded it to the touch screen you just have to reprogram the head unit with new VIN number to make it work

Now if you don't want to change the radio you could always just add the rear speakers it will work with your original head unit you just won't have a fader you just have to add the speaker cables to the rear door

Yes with a couple of rear doors I could throw in the speakers too! I used to live in Maine , there was an good junk yard nearby where I picked up a nice set of OEM 15" aluminum wheels off a 2014 Sonic.
