ZZP Brakes

I have a 2013 RS that already has rear disc brakes. I’m looking into a brake upgrade and I’m not just focusing on the front of the car.

^^^Would this kit be considered an upgrade over the stock RS rear brakes? Is anyone running them on an RS?

^^^Has anyone been running these front brakes? I’m looking for an easy replacement and I don’t want to spend the coin on Brembos.

Thanks for your input. I am not concerned about the cost associated with the brake kit. I am more interested in purchasing a complete kit that was designed to work with this car rather than locate parts and rig it up myself.

Has anyone installed this kit? I haven’t been able to find any reviews of it on the forum.

The zzp kit appears to be the same as the other option listed above except marked up and as a package.

Same as their upgraded front sway bar links

I feel like most people want to upgrade brakes for the wrong reasons.

Unless you are doing frequent autox or track days, the RS or even LT brakes can lock the tires just fine.

Are you referring to the rear conversion kit the OP listed from ZZP?

Did anyone convert from rear drum brakes? Was it pretty straight forward? My rear drums need to be replaced at some point and thinking about converting to disc.

The rear disc conversion kit is being used by many members on here. I'm sure some of them will chime in eventually. I've heard nothing but good things about that kit. I would have bought it in a heartbeat if I didn't have an RS that already has rear discs. Upgrading the drum brakes is a no brainer as far as I'm concerned.

The 17’ and 18’ RS comes with drums in the rear which is so stupid. I contacted zzp and they don’t know if the kit will fit a new sonic. Hopefully somebody chimes in that has tried it.
