Plasti Dip Bow Ties came out great !
Gave them 3 coats. Let them dry 20 to 25 minutes between coats since it was 92F today. Also, sprayed just so the coat was evenly wet with little or no "orange peel". It's is a fine line between a good wet coat and starting to run.
So a sharp eye and feel for it seems to be needed.
I let the final coat dry about 40 minutes, then used a pointed Exacto blade to score the PlastiDip in the groove of the outer Bow Tie and inner original gold colored center. A bit tricky since the PlastiDip is rubbery and tends to grab at the blade. But worked very well.

Re-installed rear bumper cover on driver side because someone snagged it on a parking lot and left... Pull the wheel and use a T20 driver, very easy.
Some scratches in the paint down to the plastic - easy to see if you are looking for it, but not too bad since it is the dark grey paint on a grey plastic bumper.
Has anyone tried using a spray can of touch up paint with any success? A local body repair supply shop can make a spray can for about $20, but I'm not sure if it is worth fooling with.

Installed new shift boot to go with the knob I did yesterday to add a bit of color to the void of black plastic. Had to drill out the knob and thread it and the shift arm to a 1/2-13.

I dipped my toe into pasti-dipping the chrome on the back of my hatchback yesterday. Went really well, but I screwed up a bit and some of the dip tore on the chrome. Not a big deal since I will just peal it off and redo it. Was my first time using plasti-dip so it was kind of a tester day. Going to leave the black on the bow tie and the model lettering alone, but probably have to do the two reverse light chrome trim. I learned that soft tip darts are your friend when cleaning and pealing after spraying.

Got my BNR rear trans mount installed and coupled with MPFabs DRS, it's perfect right now. Zero vibrations and only put 100miles on it today so far. The upper left and right mounts are still stock for now.
Engine no longer shaking in the bay, also found out what the occasional banging was as well, the stock rear trans mount was completely shot and I might add a total piece of ****. When I get another sonic, that above all other thing will be the first item replaced. My stock one (6yrs old and with 72k miles on it, I placed a screwdriver in the center and with no effort I was able to rotate it to max in both directions and the rubber was starting to crack and tear as well.
Next on the list, rear disc conversion.
