Stuttering?

Manual trans 2013 1.8. 132,000 miles. I replaced spark plugs, filter, air filter 20,000 ago when I bought it.
It skips a beat at idle and when driving easy. Check engine light and code 171 (lean).
What could cause this? Fuel pump, fuel filter, clogged injector?

Cracked intake hose maybe (I'm not sure)? Take a look at this thread:

Checked my intake hose and it looks good. My cheap code reader only said 171 lean. Advance auto counter guy used their much better reader and it said the downstream O2 sensor. Unfortunately, they can't get one to sell me.
Fortunately, they are less than $30 online.

I had a persistent ""rich" condition engine check light come on due to a faulty oxygen sensor (the one upstream of the catalytic converter. therefore a faulty oxygen sensor can cause either lean or rich running condition because it is feeding bogus data into the engine computer.

Lean condition can also be caused by any vacuum line leak in the engine compartment.
