p2076 code popping up with check engine light

hello all!
i recently had a check engine light pop up, ran the code and up came p2076: intake manifold tuning valve position sensor or switch circuit range/performance.
after some research online i’m seeing people clean their butterfly valve/throttle body first to see if it’s worn down and see if that gets rid of the code.
i drive this car full time for lyft and uber so i’m trying to get this fixed ASAP. anyone have this issue before and if so what was the solution?

update: tried cleaning out the throttle body with it still on the car (only removing the air filter box and the air hose that connects the air filter box to the throttle body/butterfly valve) with some throttle body cleaner spray and the code reappeared after driving the car around town a bit. i might have to take the throttle body off and clean it that way, i’ll keep the post updated!

update #2: went back to the auto part store to read the code and up came p2076 (intake manifold tuning valve position sensor or switch circuit range/performance) and p0101 (mass or volume air flow A circuit range/performance) which according to a youtube video i was watching means the sensor in the throttle body/air meter is out and replacing the throttle body should do the trick. i’ll link the video for anyone searching this up in the future.
