Sonic Won't Start Trouble Codes and CEL

So i been trying to get my sonic to start for awhile now I 'm looking for help i recently got my intake manifold replaced a few months ago because of codes
P2076 & P0171 then after this was replaced i had to replace the starter because not starting up so i had to replace the fuse after that i got it started but it ran for awhile job well done right no next morning i have a leak from the purge value hose to the intake manifold even tho it's new and my coolant heater core hoses i replaced the o ring on the inlet hose and replaced the whole connector outlet hose (i think i got that right difference between outlet & inlet) but no leak on them so far, put the old purge value hose on still leaking and not starting also I'm getting codes 84 on dash when trying to start and with scan tool i get codes :

P0107
P0106
B2AAA
P2101

Make sure all the sensors are plugged in securely, especially the map sensor and throttle body. Otherwise I don’t have anything other advice besides focus on the pending and permanent codes. The history codes don’t necessarily matter in this case because you said you replace the manifold a little while ago. Have you tried clearing the codes, and trying to start it?

It might just reset the computer enough for it to start and give you all fresh codes that you can work off of. Typically a mechanic will diagnose a problem, repair/replace the part, clear the codes and see if the same codes come back or if any come back.

At least I’m trying to help the guy out rather than be the ******* on the forum. Yes, the op’s post could have been written better but maybe that isn’t their strong suit. So unless you have anything important to add to the thread, why even waste the time to bitch and complain because there is a few fun on sentences? Oh wait...I don’t need to to know the answer because I don’t care and I’m not gonna argue with the guy that thinks the sonic is an all around perfect car.

Did it ever occur to you that GM makes ****ty products compared to other brands? Of course not. You blame everybody’s problems on not properly maintaining their vehicles. For example, I’ve spent way more money on this sonic than I would have on the Honda I was looking at buying when I got the car. I’ve changed the oil every 5000 miles, changed the transmission fluid twice within the four years that I’ve owned, replaced numerous sensors, an engine, changed the coolant once, replaced the tires, changed the brake pads(brake shoes were fine), etc. And yes, some of them items or even all of them could happen to another vehicle at any time but not as fast as all them parts did.

So have a wonderful day and continue being the ******* on the forums that thinks the Sonics are perfect all around. I’m not going to reply to any of your responses because clearly you don’t know as much about the Sonics as you claim. Maybe do some research about all the issues the are guaranteed to pop up and not blame the problems on lack of maintenance.

I did my research before ever buying a Sonic. So know very well what the wear and "wear out" items are.
Besides our 2017 we have a 2014 in the family with +122,000 miles on it.

Sorry you feel the way you do about the Sonic. Many others have gotten long and many miles service with minimal repairs. Even with some of the usual repair items, many things are DIY and not that costly.

We made sure to buy a Sonic with the 1.8L and newer than 2013 . .. so less issues.
Didn't want something to hot rod or wreck with "mods". Just some economical, fun to drive transportation.

If you bought a near worn out 2012 that someone already hacked, mistreated and modded out. . . . you can't blame GM or Chevy for that.


Maybe time for you to sell or trade.

Thank you for the help so far and standing up for me i reset the codes and i got it to start but after it started it was so rough i pumped the gas a little to keep it started i let it run for a bit and turned it off and tried to start it again and it did not start i will post the new codes tomorrow but from what i remember it had a couple of sensor codes so maybe it's a sensor

PS: @JTEE2017 this is my first car i would have typed this better but i don't have computer with a keyboard at home at the moment and when I'm at school because of covid-19 they don't let us go the the library freely now
