Mylink Radio not loud

Hey all, so I got a 2017 RS last week, used, obviously, It has the chevy mylink 7inch display. So I reset all the radio and car option back to factory default before leaving the dealership, on my way home the radio was LOUD!! my rear view mirror was shaking as to how loud it was. Loved it! Now, almost a week later, and it is just not as loud anymore. Ive looked everywhere and can not seem to find a solution. I am sorry if their is already a post about this here somewhere, I just can not find it. I am only 35, my hearing is still good, so age is not a factor! loll

My advice. . search for and read the online Owners Manual.

There are settings for volume that can reduce or increase it depending on road speed.
Also some other settings like Tone Control, Speaker Balance, and others.

What source are you using? Radio vs XM vs USB vs Bluetooth will each likely have different volumes even when the radio stays as 8 or 10 or 15.

If you were driving before, look for the option that increases volume based on speed. It definitely makes it louder while driving and much quieter while sitting at a stoplight.

Radio, XM, not that loud at all, I know USB and Bluetooth are lower depending on the quality of the music files. I have auto tune off, i beleive that is for when u are driving as you said to increase the volume the faster you go. Radio and XM are just as loud as my old Sonic LT 2012 that had only front speakers. My RS has 6 speakers.

Ok maybe reset the HU again then? We're grasping for straws here then, especially if Radio+XM sound similar to your old LT. The number of speakers don't matter.

Worst case, put an amp (and speakers) in. I did and even with the stock MyLink (for now) powering it, sounds quality and level is much better.
