K&N is looking for 1.4L and 1.8L Sonics

i was on K&N's website and they are looking for sonics with both motors to design an intake for them. So if there is anyone here in the Riverside, CA area that wants to help them heres the link to do so.

I would jump on that in a heart beat if I was local. The build quality on the Typhoon SRI I used on my 09 Civic Si was great, the Typhoon usually comes with some kind of heat shield as well. But, paying full price for one there are two others that rank high on my want list as well, ZZP and DDM.

Ya id take advantage of it too, but i live in Phoenix, AZ. They have a intake for the cruze, so hopefully they will have one for the sonic soon.

Just submitted my info and gave them a call. The rep I spoke to asked me a few questions about my car and said he would call me in a couple weeks when they start testing.

To confirm there will be a heat shield.

Do you have the name of the person that contacted you? I'm in contact with the only guy who schedules all the appointments for the Riverside location and he said he hasn't scheduled any Sonics yet.

BTW he said they will contact me for my car by the end of September.

Well I changed my hours to avoid traffic. Go in really early, leave really early. So if I do get any evening traffic it's not too bad. So it's worth it now.
