Well tried my damnedest to get that reducing sleeve out an couldn't so I installed it with it in...Car runs great though.

Grab in the intake pipe with your weak hand. Use some needle nose pliers to grab the sleeve with your strong hand. Yank. It's a tight pull, but it'll come out.

I tried that and it didn't budge. I'll give it another go soon, I have to remove my mods to return the car to the dealer anyway.

Get a heat gun and heat the pipe and I would start at the middle and heat towards the ring, it should heat up faster than the larger ring and give you some slack to pop the ring out

This too.

Maybe I just got a ring that wasn't as stuck as your, but it definitely took a good bit of muster to rip out. I almost hit myself in the face when it let go.
