In my truck I use the gears.
In my car I use the brakes. Brakes are cheap.
Actually you do not lose the power steering with engine off and key in run. The power steering is driven off an electric motor not the engine. I have tested this
Keep the RPMs low for maximum mpg...that's what I've always tried to stick to. I can't imagine an engine idling at 1000rpm is using more gas than one spinning at 2000+ rpm. But I don't know how the fuel injection system works in this car, so I have no idea if my logic is true or not. For now, I will just assume that if I coast down a hill with the engine idling that it's using less fuel than if I were in 6th gear pushing 2000 rpm or more. If anyone wants to correct (aka educate) me, feel free.

Wow i didnt realize in order to get near decent mpg you had to damn near risk death by doing something stupid like cutting yout car of or disengaging your clutch downhill
These treads should have ideas on steps to try to het a recall on faulty fuel mileage or refunds for fraudulent and misleading advertisement
Heads up im just sayin next time a poll goes out asking how much you are willing to pay for gas ti support a war + 4.00 isnt the right answer! :+( you tend to get what u ask for
