Dealer has no tracking info yet, but indicated it would be 10-14 days. It's a 14 hour drive, not a 14 day drive, I'm tempted to go visit Grandma in Detroit and pick it up myself.

My dealer's fleet manager said it will ~1-1.5 weeks.

My 2013 Sonic Rs in Black Granite Metallic has been ordered and is at stage 2000!

Can you say Happy Dance!!!! Plus sold my car it is replacing making an extra $1600 than what the dealer offered for trade..

Jennie's dealer is northwest of Chicago which means the rail autocar has to be switched there. This is one of the busiest switch yards in the nation and it is one of the worst bottlenecks for cars being transported by rail, so ten or so days is reasonable with a week of it sitting in Chicago.

I do not recall where the other dealers are.

Once at the destination railyard it takes a minimum of two days to get delivered as dispatch has to determine which car carrier will carry it etc.

Everything is looking good so far.

What! A week just sitting in Chicago. I will go visit my Uncle and pick it up there. They should just put it on a truck and drive it here, no rail needed.

The wait is a crazy, stressful, wild ride isn't it? I started to worry that all the anticipation would build up my expectation so high that I might be a little disappointed when it finally came.
I was wrong, my Sonic is everything I had hoped it would be. Hang in there, you're almost there. In the meantime, just keep learning about your car here in the forums.

Lathia- my order was placed June 14th. So I'm estimating 3 months from order to delivery.

I ordered ~1pm PST on June 14th.
It really was only a 2.5 month wait because builds didn't start until August 6th.

Man it's killin me!
I'm on paternity leave with my 4 mo old son and can't go ANYWHERE while my wife is at work because my 91 TT Z isn't something I'd take my son anywhere in.
(It doesn't have airbags so it's safe in that aspect, BUT the seatbelts are mounted on the DOORS)

As soon as my Sonic gets in my last 2 weeks of paternity leave we'll be exploring the world together! X-D

I really wanted an RS model and it did not come in Blue or I would have ordered it that way as my first choice.. Nice color choice, I cant wait to see pics with your new ride soon.... I am excited for you. :banana::banana:

Dealer said from Ohio to here. Still hoping it arrives next week.
