Longtime admirer, first time purchaser

Just got my first (almost) brand new car - inferno orange hatch LT 5spd w/wheels & lamps and connectivity package. On first test drive, I was out accustomed to driving a turbo, so I opted for the 1.8L. Upon further review, WHY didn't I get the 6spd?!

Oh well. She looks really nice with a fresh coat of wax. Pic to come soon! Already looking for some custom interior LED lighting mods. Hope to use y'alls expertise very soon!

Can't be to old, but I know what your thinking because having a 6spd manual is a pretty good time I test drove a auto and hated it

It was traded from another dealership so they had to drive it up. All told, it had just under 600 miles when I bought it.

I also hated the auto I test drove. Didn't feel right unless I reeeallly laid on the gas tobnstigate quicker shifting.

Hope you like you 1.8 a lil more. I have the exact same car only 1.4t the 1.8 felt like a dog to me plus I wanted the black interior. I love mine even tho it started out a pita.

Cool. Congrats on the new car. FYI, it's still considered brand new if the miles were put on before the sale. The first brand new car I bought was a 1996 Z28. The one I wanted had to be driven about 400 miles to get to the dealership I bought it from.

I like the orange color too.

Also wax is nice, but Zaino is mind-blowing. Check out the pictures and stories on the forum here. I've just ordered myself a fresh batch of Zaino car care products. I've been using it for years and the look and durability are unparalleled.
