Same here I don't trust the gov. It's definitely worth doing a bit more research. At least read a few articles and watch some videos and come up with your own belief. The more I find the more I wonder.

The details they used are EXACT. except the collision part. It's supposed to pass by not collide. Everything else, the writers obviously researched this more than me.

I don't buy into government conspiracies but even if I did that would mean every astronomer, scientist, etc would have to be in on it and lying as well. There is just not any evidence to support this crazy theory. Every single bit of evidence that has been shown has been completely debunked. If it was as close as they say it has to be than it would be easy to see and it would be reported in tons of reputable sources....yet...

OK...but with the sheer amount of people that would have the information I find it highly subject that it wouldn't still be leaked out and common knowledge. If you have a secret and tell one person it might very likely remain a secret between you two. Tell two friends and the odds of it getting told are even higher. Now add hundreds of people to that. Then thousands. What is the likelihood that every single one of them can not only be located but threatened/paid off before they say anything and what's the odds that the threatening/paying off actually stops every single one of them. Again, if it's this close and that large than every wanna be astrologer in their back yard with a telescope would be spotting this. None of the evidence has ever stacked up and the proof that it's craziness is abundant.

Things leak out all the time... they just never become common knowledge. However, then you have to question who was it that is a supposedly former government employee that was saying it? Were they really a government employee, or just some nut job telling you to put on a tin foil hat to protect yourself from the electromagnetic waves of Nibiru. :banana:
And yes, I agree, if it's that large and that close, any backyard astronomer would be likely to see it... but apparently it has an invisibility cloak that only works if you don't put on your tin foil hat first.
the problem with that is, most people dont focus on these made up stories, so anyone in their back yard with a telescope who would see it knowing its not any of the actual planets would probably make a deal saying they found a new planet or something. you got to count on people trying to be the first to do something over their feer to look stupid cause well thats what humans do, and i also think if it caused panic most normal people will still let it leak to warn others so they can at least prepare for w/e end it may bring.
on another note tho i personally like history channels take on aliens and all those fun stories about how aliens keep messing with humans ect, thats funny stuff and it beats the other not history stuff on the channel

I love Ancient Aliens. Once again, I don't agree with everything on there though... you kind of have to choose your own reality when you start to look into alternative theories of things, just go with the explanations that sound the most plausible to you.
i find it to be quite entertaining mostly when intoxicated or bored and lazy so i dont change the station.

If I read into the theory correctly, I actually think it's supposedly coming just past the sun, so therefor it wouldn't be visible at night, and would be hard to detect in the daytime... however, you can see the moon when it's light outside, so you think you'd see a large planet near the sun at least at dawn or dusk. I think they make attachments or lenses for telescopes for looking at the sun anyway, that could also be used to try and see the mysterious planet.
