Just when Americans maybe thought they might get used to our colorful paper money up here in Canada, now us Canucks go and release plastic money to replace the old paper stuff.

The new stuff - yupp, it's still colorful, still has metal foil and holographic stuff, but now it's plastic, thinner and even has see-through windows. Even wackier than it was before...

Not far off....the 2 dollar coin actually does have a polar bear on it. Then their 5 dollar bill has kids playing hockey on the back.
