Painted the foglight bezels topaz blue to match

Ordered the paint from the dealership.. Small spray can for $13.00
It matches really good.. I painted right over the plastic. No plasti dip or sanding first and it worked great!!

That REALLY looks good! Being the front of the car, bugs, gravel etc... am unsure of how long it will stay like that, especially without proper prep. Keep us posted! Nice mod! Nice looking car.

Thanks... I just painted it yesterday and ran it through a carwash today.. If that didnt take the paint off, i dont think anything will.. I put on 3 coats, so Im confident it will stay on there pretty good..

no prep, no clear coat? 3 coats of paint mmmmm I hope it lasts seems like it might get ruined fast but hope not. planning on doing this with a gloss black to compliment my black flash package.

I dont have the patience for prep work, so Im hoping for the best(so far so good)
I painted them while on the car.. Just taped around them and newspaper..
Just remember to cover all areas around the paint surface.. This stuff doesnt come off like plasti-dip.. It matches perfect and it looks like the car came like that new..
No need for clear coat(its in the paint)..

My car didnt come with Fogs... Thats why I painted it to look better..

Yeah, I know, I was joking about them being called fog light bezels without fog lights. I agree, it does look a lot better and I think it does with the fog lights as well.

For those who care, Dupli-Color sells an adhesion promoter for plastics. I've seen several people use it for interior panels. Enamel paints form a bond to itself but when it does chip, the lack of adhesion results in the paint peeling in sheets.
