Weather Tech mats

Does anyone know how far behind the pedals they extend and if they cover the dead pedal? The picture on the Weather Tech site are not actual pics.

I have the weather techs. I installed them, they fit good and I never give them another thought. What's the dead petal?

The carpeted foot rest on the left side.

What I want to know is if the weather tech covers the carpeted foot rest for your left foot? I have the all weather mats from the dealer on order for $100 but they don't cover the foot rest. The Weather Tech mats are almost twice the cost at $190 with shipping so I want to be sure they'll give me what I need.

I'm pretty sure that they cover the foot rest. I'll double check when I leave work today, maybe even take a picture if I can.

Thats very expensive for floormats...

Here is the Fix... Buy some flip flops cut off all but the rubber base for the left foot and install it to the dead pedal

Now take the money you saved and add a little more and get a tune for the vehicle and ENJOY!!

I got bored at work; so I took a walk on such a nice day, out to the Sonic and took a picture of the weathertech mat; as you can see, it only covers the bottom 50% of the dead pedal. Hope this helps

they may be god awful ugly, but they keep the sonic looking good with all the winter snow and salt here in wisconsin. With normal mats i had to replace them every spring to try and keep the car looking nice.

I have the weathertech mats in the traverse and they are worth it. I plan on get some for the sonic too.

Another WeatherTech question

I e-mailed WeatherTech a couple weeks ago and got no answer. I plan to get their floor mats for the Sonic RS, but can't find out if the ones they sell for the 2012 Sonic will be the same for the 2013 line. Does anyone her know or able to find out? Thanks. I don't want to order now if they aren't going to fit.

The 2012 will fit the 2013 although they are not listed on site. I can't see where the 2013 RS would be any different from any other Sonic. I was concerned at first, any difference between the sedan & hatch. They are also identical.

I have the 2013 LTZ hatch and my W-tech floor mats fit like a glove I went with the factory cargo mat though because w-tech does not have it yet.
