Central PA folks - what gas brand?

Central PA folks - What gas do you use?

GM recommends Top Tier but in Central PA all we have for Top Tier are Exxon and Shell and those stations are usually out of the way, more expensive and usually are not popular leading to potentially stale/old gas.

Turkey Hill USED to be Top Tier and stations are usually always filled with people. I like their $.03 discount card and don't think I'd have a problem using their gas.

Sunoco would be another contender but I'd probably choose Turkey Hill first.

Honestly they probably are all using Sunoco gas anyway so it's probably not a big deal - high traffic probably means more than anything else, but I was curious to know what other people use.

If I were back in northern CA I could find Chevron, Shell all over the place.

I'm mostly using Worley and Obetz from Molly's here in Manheim, burning American produced gas in an American built car gives me the happy. Plus they stock E85 so when I get finished with that conversion, I won't have to change my shopping habits. Their price is usually at or within a penny of the other local stations that have the best prices, like Hess. Sunoco, on the other hand, is currently 15 cents more per gallon on 93, and has been for at least three days. What, they can't glance across 72 to the Citgo?

Main thing I'm avoiding at the moment though is Sheetz... they offer only 92, no 93.

I usually go to the shell station near me or sunocos. I use to put Sheetz gas in my old car and it always got terrible gas mileage. A few days after getting my sonic I drove it out to Pittsburgh and filled it up with Sheetz because I was right near one so it was convenient at the time..I didn't even make it to Pittsburgh on a tank of gas. I had to stop at a Sunoco in water fall and filled up there and that tank lasted me all the driving I did in Pittsburgh plus the whole trip home and some more. Since then no more sheetz gas, but I have only heard bad things about the sheetz closest to me. Haven't heard horror stories specifically about others. So maybe its just the one near me.

Theres always rumors going on around here that they water down their gas, but isn't that illegal? I know a few people though who would put nothing but sheetz gas in all the time and then the car randomly stopped running and they found out it was because of water in the gas tank. Once it was flushed and refilled with other gas it ran fine and hasnt happened again since.

I used sheetz often with no problems in my F150 for years. Stopped using them with Sonic because their hbighest octane was only 92 octane.

Since starting the alcohol sensor project I've been using W&O exclusively since they are the only E85I can find around here. Zero problems and they are amused to see me show up to pour more "do not use this in your car" ino my tank.
