I think it is on a train heading toward your dealer.

It takes at least a couple of days once off loaded to get a car hauler to deliver it to the dealer. It may take longer if your dealer is not in a metropolis or in between the rail head and a metropolis as the trucks are fully loaded before they begin their journey

I spoke to the nice lady at Chevy Customer Service again today. I must have mis-understood her last Monday. I thought she said the car was AT the train depot in E. Brookfield, Mass.
But today she said it is "in transit to E. Brookfield" but still bayed in East Boston, Michigan. Not sure how it can be "in transit" if it's parked in Michigan?

So the car was built Nov 1st, QC on Nov. 8th, now almost 4 weeks later, it is still parked in Michigan!

The Orion plant has it's own train yard, why did they move it to the New Boston train yard?

I am bummed, I want to leave on my roadtrip

Did anyone have their Sonic get stuck on 3800.
Mine was produced on 11/22 and hasn't moved. I noticed that beaslbob's
was produced on the 11/28 and it has been shipped.

Any ideas why?

VinnieCag: It generally takes more than a week for the paper work to be completed before a car is shipped. Usually about two weeks, although there are no rock hard rules. If you start showing a bunch of 4B00s, then re-post your question and we'll see if we can answer it, but for now you are within what is normal.

But there is an advantage to a QC Hold: the vehicle will be gone over with a fine tooth comb by people who know the Sonic better than the back of their own hand. I have never heard of a quality control issue developing in a car we believe underwent a QC Hold.

Looks like yours went to QC. It seems to have trended that if your car gets Invoiced (4150) it goes to QC and will take a few weeks, and if your car gets to Bailment (4014) it gets shipped out immediately.

No, if you notice, yours had a Bailment before it was Invoiced, whereas Richie did not.
