What do you all gain from the trifecta tune? Does it make that much of a difference? Anyone got a 0-60 time with the tune?

I can't imagine wanting to be 16 again, there's vitamin C (beats blue diamonds) for the only reason I can... and the angst and the pimples and the not knowing what to do even if I had the opportunity? Screw that!
Every thread you look at that's asking about this topic, you're going to see the same thing over and over. Get the tune. There's only one reason not to get the tune, and that's that you want to keep the sonic absolutely bone stock. Any other change you make is going to be at least as much a threat (minimal) to your warranty, and is going to make far less difference; the stock tune actively works to destroy any benefit from other mods. Plus, the tune itself is by far the biggest performance mod available.
If you're on a tight budget, another option is to swap in a better filter, and maybe chop up your stock air box. The change here seems to be too minimal for the stock tune to dumb it down. But it is pretty minor, the main thing you'll get is the ability to hear your turbo breathing.

Hope you're enjoying your Sonic! Just wanted to make you aware. Please be advised that whenever you modify your vehicle, you run the risk of voiding your warranty if the modification can be traced back to the original problem.
The GM Policy & Procedures states that any changes to the GM Powertrain Fuel, or Emission Systems that involve modifications, conversions, or the addition of non-GM approved products will VOID the GM Powertrain Limited Warranty including, but not limited to the repair of engine, sensors (02), wiring, control modules, emissions, exhaust system, catalytic converter, and any other components and/or control systems which fail because of the modification or conversion. GM will not be responsible for costs associated with the repair of these vehicles due to failure of the aftermarket installed components or failures of related vehicle systems induced by these non-GM approved products.
So basically you're taking a chance when you do mods.

Vanessa is entirely correct, and very careful. Note that it is a case of May, not must; if your service department doesn't think what you've done caused the problem, then they can still honor your warranty. But as she says, it is always a risk.
Most of the mods discussed here, though, have been tested pretty thoroughly by the people providing them, or by a large number of us who were crazy enough to adopt them early.
As long as you don't do something senseless like install an alcohol sensor out of a Buick Regal, or get a company to make you a clutch when they can't even guarantee it will fit, you'll probably be fine.
