Thoughts on Painting Interior Panels?

Just to throw this out there and see what others think of this idea of mine i have. Pics posted below in the attatchments. Whats your thoughts on me Painting my interior Door panels Black and White? Did a couple photoshop mockups to see how it would look. and i have a Summit White Sonic Sedan... This is just a thought. Even if i did do this, it wont be right away.

I like it, IMHO would look better with the dark interior but still looks good

Thanks guys, I just might do this then. Would give me something to do as a side project here and there. Do one door at a time, prep, paint and then move to the next till there all done. thanks for your input. I think it really spices up the interior of the car. Thought about doing the plastic pieces around the radio unit and heat--A/c controls too.

And i like what you did there. Thats cool looking! Thats the better way to do it so not to actually tint the headlights and still be able to get the effect like you did.

Yeah thats my only concern is if i was to do this is how dirty the white sections would get all the time. Thats what holding me back from doing it. and as for doing it right. anyone can do anything if they take the time and do each step properly. Thoroughly clean and degrease, light sand down to better addhere to paint, primer, paint, Clear it. unless i missed a step there and if i did sorry. Shouldnt be too hard to do. Just take it one panel at a time opcorn:

How wide are your rims? 60mm is the magic offset for flush with 6.5's.

If they are 8" wide. 42mm offset = flush.

8" wide. 30mm offset = HELLAflush like me

you need a few mm more poke, more stretch, and more low to be "HELLA" flush. trololol

But yeah, so far the wheel set ups that have seemed closest to flush on a Sonic so far are: (at least the ones of which the offsets were known since I don't know the offset of that Fatlace one, that yellow State of Stance one, Bob's teal one, etc... lol)
And I apologize in advance if I missed someone here; I'm just listing off the top of my head.

17x7.5 +23 (Opticon)

17x8 +30 (ZachTullier)

18x8.75 +40 (FEARONE)

I noticed from looking at this and a backspace/offset chart that for every inch that you go wider, the offset decreases by 12 to retain the same amount of frontal space.
So if my calculations and understanding of offset are correct, here are offsets I'd think would work for flush set ups (with little to no tire stretch) for each width (give or take a few mm; less offset +stretch for stance/hellaflush, or more offset + meatier tires for grip/function.):

(numbers are based on Zach's set up, but you can calculate based on the other set ups by subtracting/adding 12mm per inch of width increased/decreased respectively)
x7 +18
x7.5 +24
x8 +30
x8.5 +36
x9 +42
x10 +54

(and no, I have no idea if the last one would clear your struts or not... LOL)


Hope that helps for those that are wondering about it.
