Plasti-derp won't hold up in that environment well anyway. When I rattle can anything for my car I use VHT hi-temp engine paint. All auto parts stores carry it in a wide variety of colors. I did my coils with it and they're holding up to the road abuse just fine.

The mount looks great BTW. Nice color scheme.....makes sense now. I think if you painted the valve cover (the real valve cover) and the intake to match the polished silver look of the mount it would look awesome.

Also, I'll say again, after a couple thousand miles you won't even notice the vibs.

Plastidip is rated for temps of 300F, The owner of DipYourCap.com dipped his exhaust tips a few months ago still no problems with it. My Coil Cover is Dipped for the last 2 months no problem either

And stickers can't forget those, I personally would feel more comfortable with high heat paint over plasti dip but interesting to hear its actually working on an exhaust and engine top. I wonder how durability will be.

You can get a hot glue gun and macaroni noodles at any local grocery store to make a valve cover the whole family can enjoy.

Meanwhile, REAL paint can be still be bought for $4-6 a can.
