Installed new spoiler on Sonic LTZ Hatch

In continuing the quest to further personalize my Sonic, I ordered a 3D Carbon spoiler from CarID. They sell entire body kits but for now I just went with the spoiler for a sale price of $157.

I considered the RS spoiler (listed for $203 at GMpartsdirect), but I liked this one a little better.

Maybe it's just me but that does look allot like the RS spoiler.

Somewhat but not a lot alike. I suspect the RS spoiler will function closer to how the LT spoiler with lip did then the 3D Carbon spoiler will.

Apparently some RS parts are. To access them click this link GM Parts Direct: 95942509 - SPOILER KThen click accessories at the top, then change date to 2013, then pick sonic, then RS.....There you go.

Interesting, it shows a grill in the list, but the thumbnail is of the standard grill.

That is why I put the lip on the Sonic LT spoiler that I no longer have.

Never drove it down a dirt road after so can not say for sure if effective but I believe it would have been. Believe but not able to prove.
