I just want to say how impressed I am. I ordered the Injen CAI for my 1.4T Sonic sedan on Friday and it was on my doorstep Tuesday. I didnt expect it until like Thusrday or Friday. The price was great too and the 20 bucks for shipping was obviously worth it. I installed it in 10 minutes and everything fits and looks great. Went for a drive and and highway speeds I can definitely feel it pull a little more when I kick the auto trans down a gear for passing. The bypass valve seemed a little obnoxious at first but I'll get used to it. I'm 44 not 18. The power gain and possible MPG improvement is what I'm looking for. If the MPG increase blows my sox off I'll let ya know.

Injen clearly shows a HP/ torque increase:

So that means that bone stock our engines make 125hp 140 tq wheel? So is the rating of 138 crank hp 148 crank torque from the factory a bit conservative?

I don't understand where the hatred and "loss of power" responses are coming from...what thread did I miss?
Maybe Injen didn't do a great job on the Sonic, but it's one of the best intakes available for NA Cobalt's. Then again, with the Cobalt it can be SRI or CAI....and I can't complain at all because I got it "used" (barely) for $100 shipped and everyone else was stuck paying $200+ new (could never find used ones when I got mine...unless someone wrecked there car or went FI which is how I got mine).

they dont like it cause ddm showed a dyno showing that it made less power then stock air box on most of the power curve with a peak of like 2hp at one point, coupled with the fact that it must pull hotter air cause of its location. Injen shows a gain, ddm shows less/none and the ppl took sides and here u see the hate

That is ANOTHER competing vendor testing another manufactures product. They are going to bash it/make it look bad, even though it is not. I would not trust their data. Injen clearly dyno test each system, spends many hours testing each application. They dont just make tubing.
Also that is DDM's speculation on the heat, where is their data? Plus again, I would never trust data from a competing manufacture, 3rd party independent testing is the ONLY true answer.
There is a reason why we ship many of these out each week. Customers know and trust Injen products, just like the member above stated with the cobalt.

Maybe I will have to end the dispute...once I get my car, get it dynoed...then again with the tune only. Then go ahead and purchase all three intakes (ZZP, DDM, and Injen) and give actual dyno data.
