Hola! I am cdaiscool; I just picked up a Sonic last Thursday. Been reading all I can on these forums for the last few days, and felt it was time to reserve my name and all that jazz.

I'm from Michigan, have the 1.4l 6-speed manual LT. 2013 model. Absolutely loving it!

Now I just need to edit the signature to show my fuelly stuff, and then probably hit bed...

My first car was stick and I had not a clue! I've been teaching my little brother and it's killing my clutch. I'd be more than willing to teach you in your standard transmission though

You'll be fine on a sonic the clutch is easy, Good car to learn on.

Driving a stick is easy once you've done it.

Just learn on someone else's first, or your warrantied one. I may have blown the clutch out of the first one I drove.

Thank goodness I worked for the transmission shop and it was their truck.
