Could I be the first in the 5K club???

I know there is a guy who has an ex-demo car with 5K, but that hardly counts if you got it with thousands on the ticker already. Rolled up to the driveway at the end of a 2700-ish mile road trip tonight, and the DIC looked like this...

So, of course I had to back out of the drive and take a spin or two around the block!

dont make fun of me its the only sonic i could find lol. I have already put 1300 on it in less than 2 weeks :) 73XX now .

me and you can be in the already depreciated the hell out my new car club.
the more i drive it , the more i love it , i love this little car and i cant believe it.
p.s. im the demo guy

Hey, dump! Didnt mean any insult, and glad you didnt take it that way. FWIW, I woulda taken a demo car if it was the only one I could find too! Finding an LTZ Turbo was a flat out miracle. Thank the General that the district rep didnt want to row his own gearbox!

Right there with you on the miles thing, bud, and just like you dont give a damn about rackin em up. I drive 64 miles a day for my commute, and I'm already planning another 4K mile road trip for the summer! Gonna drive this lil guy till the wheels fall off (got the Lincoln in my sig when it was three years old!) and the heck with resale value!

yep im 60+ a day too , this thing is so cheap on gas its a miracle lol i filled it on my way home from va last weekend , drove it all week still have more than a quarter tank lol. avg 38.2 according to the computer. still workin on my stick shift skills too.

Its over 39000!
My wife commutes 160 miles a day. She's on break right now (teacher) or we would have passed 5k already :)

Long live depreciation - 4123 miles in almost exactly two months. What can I say, my wife and I love the car so we drive it a lot. :)

Just rolled past 1000 miles the other day. It had 204 when I took delivery. The local dealer didnt have the one I wanted so they took a 1.8 auto to the bay area and swapped it for mine. Of the 1000 miles and some change, I have put on less than 200. I live exactly a mile from work.
