That's awesome. I'm targeting low 10s, but it will take me a while to get there. I have to start with a rebuild of the short block with forged internals. Then the transmission and the rear end.

When I bought my Grand National, I spent $1500 for a Precision TE44 turbo, slightly larger than stock turbo, methanol injection kit and Turbo Tweak chip. I went from mid 13s to high 11s. That is probably the cheapest 150hp I will ever purchase.

Do you already aftermarket valves?

Vtuners has a set of pistons and valve springs available for the 1.4. The luj and luv variants are identical to each other except the luj can't run e85.

Yea he has them but I think he is more expensive then the ones listed overseas

I know one or two people on here bought the springs. Someone needs to jump on the pistons. Also he posted a couple months ago on Facebook he was developing a larger turbo kit as well.

I have his springs wish they were double and not single. I'll pass on the piston due to the 9.1 comp I want the 9.5 I see overseas often

DDMW made LUV Pistons with the stock CR for me. But I have since suspended my build plans. If you want them, call him and ask. I believe he contracted Wiseco.

Did they ever make rods for you as well?

The last time I spoke to him, they were only weeks from being completed. That was like 3 months ago. So I'd expect that they are ready..... Again, I won't be needing them, so yall are welcome to contact him about them.

Has anybody actually experienced any valve float in these engines? About a month ago I had to make a quick stop for a traffic light after having to pass a hooligan in town and accidently went from 4th to 1st tack said 7500, have put another 1000 miles since. was at said rpms for a split second though as i don't normally red line my engine because of the power drop off at the 6+ rpms

A 4th to 1st would drop a valve before floating it. But yes a few of us have hit that wall of valve float a few of us are working on better valve train

Was wondering if any of you have swapped the springs out. I've got a 2013 running about 26 lbs. of boost, but can't keep it. I'm ordering the springs from vtuner, just wondering about any tips.

I'd recommend you get your valve springs from BNR.
