My 1.8L wouldn't let me past 3k in any gear but drive

I must have broken my rev limiter then because I made my car shift points as high as 5500rpm (so far) on the 1.8L auto through use of the manual mode. Though I must say its incredibly tough to get this car to go over 100mph like I have to try hard when i'm on the "track". Seems like it decelerates after that which is no fun I guess them manual toys get all the goodies and fun that and the 1.4t's

My car would easily get past 3k if I was driving. I tried to rev it in park and neutral to compare the SAB with the stock filter and then opened up and it wouldn't rev past 3k
