Got a few questions for ya,
with the 2012 people complained that the radio was too quite with the windows down, do you have that problem? Have you tried to play a .avi video yet, how does it look? Hows the call quality? Please post a video review soon!

Jennifer, congratulations!
You deserve a new ride after 10 yrs.
My '13 IOM LTZ turbo Sedan just got home and it's a sex machine!
I love the hell out of it, that much is certain.
MyLink is awesome so far! Like Jennie said, it's very responsive.
My DroidX found/paired to it instantly and it's a hummer alright.
I prefer hooking in via USB, I went to pictures/video and it instantly fired up True Blood haha!
(I used my phone as a go-between on my PS3 and it was still there)
That, btw, is a format it apparently likes. (.AVI *a container* compressed with XVid)
I have to say, the BT is great so far.
I remote started the car to leave while I put my son in our other car 12ft away and heard my phone chime.
Apparently I left BT on my phone active and the Sonic asked permission to sync my phonebook.
What don't I like about MyLink? that GD piano black surround - Who uses piano black as a touch surface, really?
The Volume, Power and home buttons are on a piano black surface so I could tell how many salespeople were experimenting with it. :blankface:
The salesman pointed out that everyone agrees that "Q" for Cadillac sucks, it should use MyLink's much easier UI.
My sales guy also chuckled about his co-workers trying to sell my car.
"Like 5 guys came up to me asking if I had a buyer for this car and I had to fend 'em off and tell 'em it was special ordered and sold".
Maybe they'll heed my advice and get some GD turbos in there. haha
I'll make my own thread tomorrow when I take pics in the sun and stop thread jacking.

Exactly what I'm trying to figure out!
Maybe you will be able to answer a few more questions for me. Do you by chance use googles music cloud music service music.google.com ? What do you mean that you use your phone as a go between?

Good stuff you two.
The speakers should not be the same as 2012 as they have a different RPO Code. GM changes RPOs only when there is something different.
As for getting their act together, if one ordered a 2013 LT today it would likely be accepted, assembled and shipped before the end of the first week of October. Pre-ordering added several weeks.

CUE has been getting fantastic reviews in both auto magazines and the usability design community. I would question anyone saying it sucks. Sadly I don't think I can hit a Cadillac dealership just to mess with CUE in one of the cars so I won't find out for myself.
MyLink does look great though.

I have not tried it with the windows down. I will and report back. Picture quality is nice. I have not been able to get the video to work. I will convert to .avi.
Call quality is excellent so far.
I plan to do a video review this weekend. Minus engine stuff because all I know about that is mine has one and it's a turbo.
Keep asking the questions so I know what to include in the review.

I don't use Google's music service.
MyLink would let you stream your music via BT, basically it turns the radio into your headphones.
It would not stream it via USB from what I know.
"my phone is a go-between" - A friend borrowed my big USB drive so when I watch shows on my PS3 I was uploading it to my phone via USB then downloading it to the PS3 the same way.
(Which is why I had the video on my phone and knew it worked)

I can only quote what the salespeople around me were saying.
They don't like the interaction, and they were young guys who are fully tech savvy.
Is it less complicated than cue? I can't tell you, I didn't play with it.

Hi, nice car & nice to see a 2013 owner reporting back.
I was wondering are you absolutely sure the touchscreen doesn't flip up? Maybe just has a latch or something keeping it closed? I thought all MyLink units flipped open & had the storage space behind them.

Thank you, I am so excited about my car. And as one of the first 2013 owners, I feel it is helpful to report back to the forum.
I will double check for you, but both the dealer and myself tried to flip it up. As far as I can tell it does not flip. This is a different myLink unit than in the more expensive cars so that may be one of the cost saving features that allows it to be priced as a $200 upgrade in the mid level Sonics.
I do have the owners manual for the radio and can check that as well.
