Anyone who's driven the 1.4 and the 1.8 know the 1.4 is more fun to drive. And better mileage. I'm into turbo diesels too, and that just taught me how beneficial turbos are to any engine.

i started this as a hypothetical situation i was just curious. and no i am not on "methamphetamines". i bought the 1.8 because i have a k2 turbo just sitting in my spare room and plan on making my NA 1.8 into a turbo 1.8.
also i am in to turbo diesels i own a 2005 ford f350 12 in lift and a load of toys it is a great truck. even thow i onley drive it once a week or so i still love my truck.
