A question: Did you buy your Chevrolet Sonic because it was built in America?

I saw this cool image of a Chevy Sonic going through an assembly line and and was thinking, did anyone who bought a Chevy Sonic buy this car because it was built in America, or did they just thought that it looked different and the price was right?


A big reason why I myself bought my own Sonic is because of the fact that it was indeed made in the USA, plus I really like how the car looked and was looking for something that was good on gas for work. Mine is a 2012 and I still have her, Ive already posted on here every once in a while, so here is kind of a thought provoking post, at least for me anyway!

As you know, you'd be lucky to really get any other responses on this forum, as for the question, it played a large part of my decision and for the price I paid not much else compared to it in size and ride. I had a 2012 LTZ 1.8l that was totaled @ 106,000mi when someone pulled out in front of me. I enjoyed it so much that I bought my 2014 LT 1.4t that I still currently drive and have 211,000mi on.
They both have had their issues but I do my own maintenance and especially preventive maintenance and I have been happy with my choices. This forum has helped me for many years even with it's lack of responses and I thank everyone here that has taken their time to respond over the years.
