Average miles out of a set of tires?

Reading some of these responses made me realize that I probably drive rather aggressively.

Was changing my oil at 55k miles noticed wire on the inside of one. I haveny rotated since 28k so thats why but bought bridgestone turanza infinty tires. They are great but I think I need rear shocks. It is getting pretty squirrely in the back on bad roads or high wind

I'm at 71,500+ miles and my tread depth is 5/32". I'm going to replace them in the next couple of weeks because they've been through 2 summers of 100+ degree days and I don't want a blowout in the middle of the desert!

57,000 miles on stock tires. At 3/32. Getting new tires next week.

I am almost at 60k on my tires 205/55/16 Hankooks and I still have a bit to go before I get to the wear bars. I was looking at the stock tires and I thought they were supposed to be LRR but it appears they are not.

50k and 5/32 on all four. Rotate with every oil change.
