Not with traffic because I have not bothered to try to use it but I do have a problem with the way BringGo keeps trying to keep me on a path I know (from radio traffic reports) is not the best path. It will recalc the route several times then give up unless a click "NO" when asked if I want the route to have a new start place.

Not since I switched back to Waze full time...

But related to Bringgo, the traffic info never worked for me. Even when it did it didn't provide any useful alternates. I can recall it trying to drive me right into an "all lanes closed" accident and not offering an alternate. As Laborsmith had indicated above, it also tried to steer me right back into that mess even when I knew a better way to go.

My personal opinion that Bringgo is not much more than hot garbage. GM follows a close second for supporting (or not supporting) this program. I'm not sure which one it is to be honest.

I like most aspects of BringGo, and at $60 that is about $735 less than Nav goes for as an option in the Non-Spark and non-Sonic Chevy lines, which leads me to conclude Chevy is not interested in providing the support that would make it more viable and correct the aspects need to be improved.

When using the stand-alone Bringgo app, I prefer the male voice to the female one. But in my Sonic, the voice is only female. I wish GM/Bringgo would allow you to change the gender.

Never on our mylinks, unless GTPprix does it for us. I think its safe to say that GM won't offer any retrofit software. Maybe the '15-'16s will be able to run it?

I just purchased the BringGo app and it works wonderful with my Samsung S4 in our 2014 RS sedan. I will probably make the full purchase one the 30 trial is over. One Tip...download and Read The Manual.

Just a word of advice: Don't expect the traffic feature to be of any use when you purchase the full version. Absolutely horrible, which is probably why they don't include it with the 30 day trial.

Chevy needs to cut ties with this Bringgo app...they never should have got involved with what is not even deserving to be called a beta app. A lot of people feel scammed out of $60. If I had it to do over I would not have gotten the MyLink & Bringgo. I would've spent my money on an aftermarket head unit that works.

After reading your post I downloaded the manual. There are a few things I didn't figure out already, but none that fix the issues.

I have had many known addresses not work. Either I would have to use a different number like 400 instead of 426 then look for #426 when I got close. Or I've had it not show the address in that town. I have to use my phone to find a neighboring town and try that one.

The points of interest are almost useless. If I select emergency, hospital it goes to a gynecologists office. Emergency, police takes me to someone's house 3 miles from the police station. Maybe its the chiefs house?

The traffic is a myth. It says there's traffic when there isn't, and doesn't say there is traffic while your stuck in it.

In my opinion, bringgo is the worst navigation app/device or whatever you want to call it I've used.

I have almost no experience with navigation programs unless one counts OnStar of which I have had too much experience.

BringGo in general works for me and I have experienced a known address not accepted but a rounded off address working like a charm.

I can't speak to the traffic section as the few times I have tried it I was already past an exit, so when it could tell me there was a problem I was already past the point of no return. It could be the$795 nav options are more adept, but given the choice I will stay with the $60 option as traffic hang ups are so rarely a problem for me.

If you wonder where the $795 comes from, that is the Navigation option price for most Chevy vehicles. I know there are aftermarket options but I also know those options are attractive nuisances, if you know what I mean.

I don't want to quibble with you but the $795 comparison is a bit unfair. Bringgo is a $60 app, not a navigation system. Most apps run from free to $5 or so. To use Bringgo, you must own the MyLink which you have paid extra for, and a $500-600 smartphone for the GPS.

$60 wouldn't be so bad if the app actually worked. You shouldn't have to put in an address that's somewhere "close" to your destination. The traffic should work. Bringgo should be compatible with most Android phones as it was first advertised. Chevy dealers, instead of pushing the navigation feature, should tell prospective buyers that Bringgo is incompatible with 95% of Android smartphones.

Quibbling? Some complaints above referenced appear in Camaro and Corvette sites which leads me to believe they are not about BringGo.

My smart phone works although not listed as compatible. Cost $68.98 at Target. I do accept your statement about Androids in general not working but I find Chevrolet as the responsible party. You may have noticed Chevrolet has done nothing to support BringGo after promoting it as a reason to buy a Sonic or a Spark.

MyLink for the Sonic is a $200 option. Nav on a Camaro requires the MyLink option and MyLink on the C7 is standard but on both nav is a $795 option.

It is cleverly worded with legalese. No way from that page would one assume that most Android phones are not compatible with Bringgo.

Your not kidding when Chevy hasn't marketed the app very well. I knew nothing about it and I work for Chevy and sold my sister a Chevy Sonic with the mylink.

Seems like a lot of issues could be simple fixes though. Not only that but it is a very unique app that could make a huge splash once the bugs are fixed.

Well I can guarantee you that one day the google map will integrate into a car.

A lot of manufacturers are trying to go this route in one way or another.

Chevy was the first to try it apparently. Its a new setup. I wouldn't be surprised if they worked on it for a little while.

I tried out Bringo today and have to agree with others, its pretty horrid. I would prefer Apple Maps with Siri voice integration to Bringo. Luckily I only payed for the demo and not the premium version. MyLink in general could do with a UI makeover tbh, but as it is, that is the only app that really bugs me.

This whole thing would be solved if they would allow syncing with the normal "Maps" option of the three major platforms. This should not be a "feature" it should be standard option. Maybe GTPPrix will find a way to do this.
