This seems to be a great option that has me wondering: why not use Cruze parts? Seems to be a decent amount of upgraded caliper and rotor options. I know it wouldn't be as cheap but wouldn't a 4 piston Cruze caliper be a more powerful option over a single piston Encore caliper?
The brakes in my rs are so wicked i have a hard time not bouncing my head off the steering wheel lol, i wish i could tune em down a bit im used to driving suburbans and they take some serious pedal pressure to stop, i look at my sonic pedal and my cranium dives for the wheel lmao
Because, whitesmoke, simply having your cranium diving for the wheel is not enough. We who have done this upgrade would like our heads to actually collapse the steering column and deploy our airbags when standing on the brakes!

Sorry for not clarifying about after market. I have a line on some Ksport calipers for a Cruze and they are 6pot (not 4, my bad). For the price I can pay for new it's hard to resist (well below retail).
And last I checked the rotors from ksport are caliper specific at 600 for the pair
Are there factory parts to change the rear brakes to discs that will work?
