I have a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic 1.8 LTZ my car overheated while sitting in traffic on one of the coldest days of the year and it blew my radiator side out so I have replaced my radiator while I was in there I replaced all of my cooling parts such as radiator with new sensor, thermostat housing and centers, water pump all pulleys and belt for that, timing belt and pulleys cam positioning, sensors crank positioning sensors fan with new resistor, and I have work myself into a tight spot now not only have I replaced everything but I don't want to have the money to replace much more also the car has been in limp mode since this happened it will not get over 3000 RPMs or pull a greasy string out of a cat's ass either one pardon my French I'm all out of options I no longer have a clue on what to do except for taking it to a shop which like I said I no longer have the money to take to shop can someone please help a poor man out thank you

I'm out of my league here. However, I'll throw this out there. Since the car won't go above 3000 RPM while in park, as designed, I wonder if there's some sort of shift sensor. Maybe look into that. It's a very dark shot in a very dark room.

Are you sure the car is a LTZ. To my knowledge, the LTZs only came with the 1.4 turbo. Maybe the limp mode is due to the turbo.
Funny thing I know it said 1.8L although I have the 1.4 and had a similar issue today I installed a ZZP cold air box and was zipping all around town then it wouldn't go over 3-5 k I and a check engine light came on . It turns out the code was low boost pressure at the bypass solinoid the connector cam loose i had to rebend the wire hold down to keep the connector from slipping off once back on check engine went out back in business those connectors are tricky .

Another thing is I'm assuming that you cleared any trouble codes that you have before you may not have a check engine light but there may be a store code in the ECU , these cars run super hot I had a YouTube video on Chevy Sonic and cruise engine temperature on a scan gauge.
They have the engine running at a constant 209 and that's when the thermostat opens so it can run up to 210 I've even seen 213 I've installed in external gauges such as a water temperature so I know what temperature my car is running at all times so if it gets too hot I can shut it down.
They sell something called an ultra gauge if you're not familiar with that it plugs into your ECU and you'll have about 13 different types of gauges that you can monitor all your car's operating system I do not take credit for this but I even followed a thermostat mod on YouTube from a guy named Corey Mayo he put it out there that you can replace your stock 220 thermostat for a 179 out of a Chevy volt I'm sitting here right now eating in and out Burger it's 90° outside I got my air conditioner on and I'm idling at 180°.

They run the car that hot to be a clean burning car and to get that advertised 35 miles per gallon but it's no wonder why these cars didn't last very long and they stopped making them because all the problems they had running the car at a continuous 210° continuously and then having everything under the engine bay plastic????
while visiting with Marvin Cowden the other day he mentioned that there were cooling problems with the RAMJET 350 which I have. I havent cranked the engine yet so I would like to head off any problems beforehand. He said you have solved the overheating problems with your RamJet350 in your Vette. Whats the solution? Ed
I must have missed something or you posted in the wrong place I thought this was the Sonic owners for him I don't have a Corvette so I might be wrong but no I was responding to somebody with a Chevy Sonic that was having overheating problems my solution was to change the thermostat to a Chevy volt thermostat which is a 179° there's a YouTube video on that from a guy named Corey Mayo.
But as far as a 350 Cobra jet in the Corvette I don't know how that got in there maybe I read it wrong.
